Do you like the idea of this blog/discussion forum? Do you find it easy to use, post comments on, and navigate? Any suggestions for improvement?

How to add a comment
We want to hear from you!
To add a comment, follow these steps:
1) At the bottom of the topic/question you wish to comment on, you will see a line that says "x comments", where x is the number of comments that have already been left. Click "x comments".
2) You will be taken to the "comments" page, on which you will see other people's comments. At the bottom, you will see "Post a Comment" and a blank window. Type your comment into that window.
3) When you are done typing your comment, it's time to post it! Find the field "Comment as:". There is a pull-down menu to the right of "Comment as:". Select "Name/url".
4) A small window will pop up called "Edit profile". Type in your name (can be just your first name) in the "Name" blank. If you have your own website that you want people to know about, add the website address in the "url" blank. If you don't have a website, it's ok to leave this part empty. When you are done, hit "Continue".
5) Now, hit "Post Comment"! You're done!
If you have any problems, email giftxavier@gmail.com. If you feel frustrated, you can email your comments directly to giftxavier@gmail.com. The webmaster will post your comments to this page so that your comments can be included in the discussion!

Working well so far, This was a very good idea if everyone participates.
ReplyDeleteTechnology is good for some no for all. We cannot avoid to sit face to face when this is what we have done always. The new style of communicating through blog have to be received gradually...the same thing can be done with the tendency to use dialectic discurse and preaching to express our faith...little by little we will use another ways of expressing ourselves in a more organic way...St. Francis Xavier did it creating songs.
ReplyDeleteNext time we should have an evaluation form available at GIFT, perhaps. I agree sitting face to face is best! It's hard to reach everyone that way, though- for example I will miss most of the meeting on the 25th! (sorry!) I think it is good to do everything we can to get comments and listen to other people's experiences, even those not on the "team"- as I've found, their experiences are quite different from mine! That's life! :)
ReplyDeleteIt is tricky. I had to click post 2-3 times for each comment to go through! I also do not think many people know about this. I heard about it through a friend. I will let people know about it!
